Our Reach in the Community
Part of our mission at St. Andrews is service and we live that out through community involvement right here in Taylors and surrounding areas. We stretch our involvement as far as possible by being part of various organizations that hold meaning to our community, some of which are highlighted on this page.
The opportunity to serve is open to everyone in the St. Andrews family! Reach out if you are interested in serving with us.
Our members work to fill these Share Bags with non-perishable food items. We partner with Catholic Charities of South Carolina, Harvest Hope, and Greer Relief on a monthly basis.
Meals on Wheels
Service involvement on a local level is important to the St. Andrews family. We have a group of members who regularly take part in a Meals on Wheels driving route in our community.
Triune Mercy Center
Our members at St. Andrews frequently support the Triune Mercy Center by donating items or volunteering to prepare and also serve the Sunday lunch at their facility.
Scouts Troop 412
The Scouts in Troop 412 are local to St. Andrews and we are honored to partner with them. We open our doors and allow them to utilize our facilities rent free for their weekly meetings.
St. Andrews Food Pantry
We are currently in the planning process of a free food pantry for the community surrounding St. Andrews Presbyterian. Please take what you need and leave what you can.
Our members also participate in Tackle Hunger’s Souper Bowl of Caring, yearly school supply drive, and a Reverse Advent Calendar encouraging members to give every day of Advent.
