AJ grew up in the mountains of Southern California, and earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of California, Riverside. He earned a Masters of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary. He moved to the Upstate of South Carolina where he served as a youth minister and as the solo pastor of a now merged set of yoked congregations. After serving for a few years in New Orleans, AJ has returned to the Upstate with his family to serve St Andrews Presbyterian Church. AJ produces a Daily Prayer video series on YouTube that has been running since 2016.
