Welcome to Holy Week.
We have walked with Jesus into the politically charged celebration of Passover, greeted with shouts of ‘Hosanna’ (Save us), washing his disciple’s feet, betrayed and arrested, denied, tried, and condemned.
Our Good Friday service will be a dramatic reenactment of Jesus’ last day from John’s gospel. Starting with dinner at 6PM (register here for dinner).
On Resurrection Sunday, we have two distinct services:
– 7 AM Easter Sunrise Service: Outside at the cross (weather permitting), songs lead by guitar, contemplating John 20:1-10.
– Breakfast (provided by Elder Phil) will be provided afterwards.
– 9 AM the Children and Youth will bake resurrection biscuits
– 10:30 AM Resurrection Sunday Worship in the Sanctuary

– Why do you think that Mary Magdalene went to the tomb?
– What would you think if you discovered that the tomb was empty?
– Why does Jesus tell Mary Magdalene not to hold onto him?
